Laser Engraved Slate

Do you love the classic look of old black-and-white photography, but are seeking an alternative to paper? Slate is durable enough to pass your special memories to the future family historian. Or you can use it to commemorate a special business milestone.

6″ x 9″ Slate can be engraved in two orientations (portrait or landscape), with up to 3 images and some text. You may order coasters individually, or in sets of 4. A cart discount will be applied to a set. You have the option of using a single image on a coaster set, or up to 4 images – one image per coaster. (Example – a family of 4 people might want a set allowing each member to have a personalized coaster, with their photo and/or name.)

Typestyle examples can be found in the gallery. Name your preferred font(s) in your text upload, or email, if you want specific sample fonts. You may choose multiple fonts from different categories, but it’s best to limit choices. Any more than 2 different fonts on a single piece can create a busy appearance. The Font Style drop-down menu offers a single choice out of seven options. The example you select from that list will be the main font of your design, the one that draws attention to the most important information. So, think bold or distinctive. “Designer’s Choice” means I will make selections from my entire font library using the image’s subject matter as a cue. It’s the perfect option for those who enjoy surprises. Please bear in mind that script fonts often look weird when set on a curving path, so I don’t recommend choosing them together.
