Mystical Lotus Bowl

Update 10/26/2025: I guess these bowls just weren’t extra enough. It seemed like they were missing something, so I added gold to the rims.

I don’t know why, but anything lotus themed has been an obsession for me lately. Perhaps it has something to do with their symbolism in the Eastern religions. How many of us believe we can take nourishment from, and then rise above, the muck which fills our lives? It’s a worthwhile mindset which requires daily practice. Sometimes we just need small reminders. Humanity has always used objects imbued with meaning to help focus on our spiritual goals.

These small bowls are epoxy resin with interior UV resin coatings, so I won’t make the claim they’re food safe. Use them for decoration or corralling a few small trinkets. Why resin, instead of glass or ceramic? Perhaps you’re a klutz like me, have children, or pets. (I have two cats who frequently prowl my house’s elevated surfaces. One of them recently broke a large glass vase while hunting bugs in the kitchen window.)
