Good Day, Sunshine! Moist Potpourri

Sometimes, it pays to do your chores. While clearing out our upright freezer, I encountered a large freezer bag filled with lemon peels. I also located some orange and lime peels. I used to save them after juicing the fruit, for recipes which used the zest. Now, I freeze whole fruits and grate the quantity needed for a recipe. (Less waste and you also get the juice in one go.) I hate to throw something away, if I can still create with it, and was inspired by another potpourri available in my store. (See related products at the bottom of this page). The packaging includes a mini bookmark. The bead charms will vary, since they’re stash buster projects. All potpourris can last for several years, provided they are stored in a lidded container and kept out of direct sunlight.
