Dark and Stormy Casket

Is there a gothic or horror story hook more classic than “It was a dark and stormy night?” I don’t think so, and here it is in box form, including the lightning. Into every life a little rain must fall, something which becomes far too apparent when you don’t receive any. Everything withers and dies without rain, even our souls. Yes, too much of a good thing can turn into a disaster, but sometimes we need the torrent of adversity, to sweep away the obstacles which prevent us from growing stronger. Fill this casket with a reminder that all storms soon pass.
